They are so easy to clean, just wipe down after your walk. This makes them perfect for water loving dogs and those who like to have a roll in mud...or something more stinky!
 
Please note that the nature of the smooth material can cause collars/martingales to loosen over time. Please always check they are fitted correctly before walks.

Pulling on a leash
 
Please be aware that collars of dogs that pull on leads are worn out considerably faster. This is particularly true for martingale collars, where due to the pulling force, the fabric is constantly rubbing against the metal parts of the collars. The lifespan of collars with dogs that walk on a relaxed leash is much, much longer than with dogs that pull and behave explosively on a leash.
